The Bogotá International Book Fair (FILBo) is one of the world's most prestigious literary gatherings, bringing together exhibitors from across the globe, with a special focus on Ibero-America. Held annually at the Corferias exhibition center in Bogotá, Colombia, this year’s fair will run from April 25 to May 11, 2025. Organized by Corferias and the Colombian Book Chamber, FILBo 2025 welcomes Spain as the Guest of Honor, under the central theme: "Words of the Body."
In a highly competitive selection process for self-published authors and independent presses, only 50 works were chosen from 323 submissions to represent the best of contemporary independent literature. Among these select few is the work of Master Ricardo Zapata:
"The Way of the Shakuhachi: Blow Your Mind, Ride Your Tone. Zen Through the Bamboo Flute."
This book has been curated for exhibition and sale at the Colombia Pavilion (Pavilion 6, Level 2) within the "Self-Published Authors" stand.

El Camino del Shakuhachi llega a la FILBo 2025
La Feria Internacional del Libro de Bogotá (FILBo) es uno de los encuentros literarios más prestigiosos del mundo, reuniendo a expositores de la industria global con un enfoque especial en Iberoamérica. Este evento anual tendrá lugar en el centro de exposiciones Corferias, en Bogotá, del 25 de abril al 11 de mayo de 2025. Organizada por Corferias y la Cámara Colombiana del Libro, la FILBo 2025 tiene a España como País Invitado de Honor, bajo la temática central: "Las palabras del cuerpo".
En un proceso de selección altamente competitivo para autores independientes y editoriales autónomas, solo 50 obras fueron seleccionadas de entre 323 postulaciones para representar lo mejor de la literatura independiente contemporánea. Entre este selecto grupo se encuentra la obra del Maestro Ricardo Zapata:
"El camino del shakuhachi: Sopla tu mente, controla tu tono. Zen a través de la flauta de bambú."
El libro ha sido curado para su exhibición y venta en el Pabellón Colombia (Pabellón 6, Nivel 2), dentro del stand de "Autores Autopublicados".
