Jiari Shakuhachi Bamboo Colors Collection
Bamboo Colors Collection 2026: A Symphony of Color and Design
We are delighted to introduce Bamboo Colors, our 2026 Collection. This series is born from a vibrant vision of color, directly inspired by the success and beauty of our acclaimed "Bamboo Forest" reference from the GEM series.
Now, this exquisite pattern, which captures the essence of bamboo in a 360º integral design, is available in a diverse palette of shades that enhance the flutes' aesthetics.
Each instrument features our characteristic precision mouthpiece with the inlay of our exclusive "Bat Mouth" design. This innovation is the hallmark of our flutes, guaranteeing the best blowing experience, superior sound quality, and unparalleled aesthetics.
Furthermore, the final aesthetic is in your hands: you can choose the color of the internal coating and the exterior color art of the bamboo body. All flutes receive a complete varnishing to ensure maximum durability and long-lasting protection of the instrument.
These shakuhachi are crafted from the finest selection root-end bamboo to create a perfect wind instrument with an unmatched tone that only the colombian bamboo can offer.
This bamboo has been grown at 1000-1400 meters altitude and strengthened by different temperatures for almost 3 years. Cured and dried for 2 years before the flute is handcrafted in a delicate and patient process personally performed by master Zapata to obtain a flute ready for concert, studio recording or home training practice.
The quality of this bamboo is characterized by the fact that it has been used by the Colombian construction industry for many years in large-scale architectural constructions due to its physical-mechanical properties as a renewable alternative to conventional materials.
The flutes have a natural balance given by the weight of the same thickness of bamboo with root end. The beauty of the serration of their roots is preserved to give an unique and beautiful aesthetic.
Each flute includes: Certificate of authenticity, blowing and notation instructions sheet (fingering chart according to the key of the flute), Flute kit: Ergonomic Velvet Flute Cleaning Swab with Handle and deluxe clothing bag to protect the instrument (cloth bag is delivered according to availability, reference photo). Flute stand sold separately.
VERY IMPORTANT: When choosing bass flutes from key A 2.3 and up, please indicate the location of your hands when holding the flute, this information will be used to locate the holes of the flute you are ordering. We recommend listening to the video that shows each tone and tessitura of the instrument according to its key, so you can get a better approach to the sound, tone and key you are looking for. The longer the flute, the deeper the sound.
If you have any disability condition and this requires a special ergonomic design, please contact us immediately to study your particular case.
( ! ) Reference photos. All of our Shakuhachi flutes in this series are similar in bamboo appearance and aesthetics. The other decorative items shown in the photographs, other than the flute and cloth bag, are not included with the purchase of this product ( ! ).
